Welcome to the Safer Kent website (for the Kent People's Trust)
We work with you to make a Safer Kent
In 2000 a group of public options trading malaysia and private organisations, led by the High Sheriff of Kent, recognised the need to help prevent crime before it started. They wanted to support local people who were committed to helping themselves and their own communities.
Since then, the Trust has donated over £800,000 to local projects in Kent and Medway. We work with a wide range of individuals and organisations providing everything from youth clubs, security advice for the elderly, youth mentoring programmes to rehabilitation schemes. These projects help prevent crime, and genuinely improve the safety and well being of local communities. We have supported projects across binary option malaysia the county from Chatham and Tunbridge Wells, to New Romney and Margate.
Wherever people are working together to make Kent a safer and better place to live, Safer Kent is working alongside them.
Safer Kent is the operating name for the Kent People's Trust , an independent charity governed by a Board of Trustees from Kent’s leading private and public sector organisations and is independent of any statutory organisation.
